Disney Cruise Line Travel Insurance Details

Once you have booked a Trip through Disney Cruise Line this plan may be purchased at any time through final trip payment.  Payment for the coverage may not be accepted after the trip cost has been paid in full.

March 6th and forward:

If you are prevented from taking your Covered Trip due to your, an Immediate Family Member’s, or Traveling Companion’s, Sickness, Injury, or death or Other Covered Events up to the amount listed above.  The sickness/injury must happen while the policy is active, you must see a physician and have a written opinion from them stating traveling not allowed. Or if the sick/injured person is a non-traveling immediate family member, it needs to be life threatening, or so severe as to require your care. A delay will be covered for the following reasons for the amount listed above: Common Carrier delay; loss or theft of your passport(s), travel documents or money; being Quarantined; hijacking; natural disaster; unannounced strike; a civil disorder.

Medical is covered when the event happens while on a covered trip.  The benefits are then only paid after your own medical plan pays their portion. If due to evacuation transportation is also covered.  Preparation and transportation home is covered in case your death occurs on a covered trip.


On items/baggage of that is lost they pay 80% of cash value unless there is a receipt for the item.  They may also decide to repair the baggage instead.  you will be notified within 30 days.  There is a limit ($1000) placed on all losses to jewelry; watches; precious or semi-precious gems; decorative or personal articles consisting in whole or in part of silver, gold, or platinum; cameras, camera equipment; digital or electronic equipment and media; and articles consisting in whole or in part of fur. For delayed baggage they will cover up to the amount listed above for additional clothing and personal articles purchased by you if you baggage is delayed over 24hrs by a common carrier.

On Worldwide Emergency Assistance you have access to them 24/7 and they assist with CareFree Travel assistance, medical assistance and emergency services.


If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may cancel your coverage within 10 days of your receipt of this document. Your premium will be refunded, provided there has been no incurred covered expense and you have not departed on your Covered Trip.
